So you think you know everything about vegan London and there’s nothing left that could possibly surprise you?
That’s exactly how I felt until I accidentally stumbled upon this 100% vegan handbag and accessories store today on London’s South Bank.

I was strolling through the Gabriel’s Wharf outdoor shopping and dining area today after a very satisfying Sunday roast dinner at Fed By Plants when a colourful window display caught my eye.
The gorgeous colours and quirky designs in the Vendula window commandeered my attention, but it was the framed award from Viva! for being a celebrated vegan retailer that stopped me fully in my tracks. Yes, I was shocked to discover that every single item in this store was vegan!
It’s tough for me to describe how absolutely whimsical these bags are. The quirky designs make the handbags look like store fronts, sushi restaurants, landscapes, and even cats.
The detail on the bags is staggering in its precision. I was blown away and as somebody who doesn’t use handbags or purses, I wanted to buy them all!
Vendula is not just a quirky handbag emporium.
The store is also overflowing with coin purses, wallets, cross body bags, key ring charms, card wallets, phone cases, and ear pod holders.
It felt almost unreal being in the store today. Every item was exquisite and whimsical, making me feel as though I was in some sort of fantasy land through the looking glass or the back of the wardrobe. And it was all vegan!
