Vegan Market in Hitchin This Weekend

Vegan Market Co has local markets taking place in many different cities and towns around the UK all year round and this weekend (Saturday 28th March, 2026) their Hitchin, Hertfordshire market is taking place.

Read more below.

Hitchin Vegan Market has been bringing joy to plant-based consumers and the vegan curious since 2019 and now it is back this weekend.

The market is set up on Riverside, running alongside the regular market.

This event brings together a mix of vegan street food vendors, artisan bakers, ethical jewellers, local artists, and environmental charities.

Here are some facts:

  • running times are 10:30am until 4:00pm
  • well-behaved dogs are welcome
  • the market takes place on just two weekends in the year

Have a fabulous time if you are heading along this Saturday.

  1. Can these organisers be trusted? They cancelled their last event in Brighton without notice. When another person and I complained on their Instagram, they just deleted our comments. It’s not worth going to another town for one of their events if they can’t be bothered to announce cancellations.

    • Sorry that was your experience. I don’t know anything about them to be honest. Just saw this online so I don’t know them or anything about them

      • Ok, thank you. I miss the Hackney Downs vegan market so much, you have no idea! Maybe that’s why I feel so spoiled, it was such a great experience every time! Thank you for all your work in organising that <3
