Club Mexicana Closes Soho Location

Club Mexicana has been feeding hungry hordes in Soho for six years but all good things must come to an end.

The famously-pink restaurant in Kingly Court just off Carnaby Street has served its last taco as the complex gets readied for a major redevelopment overhaul.

In an Instagram post on Saturday February 7, 2026 Club Mexicana founder Meriel announced the closure.

Meriel posted about the sadness of closing but also of the joy of having her restaurant be a successful fixture of the area for six years. The post goes on to explain how the closure is not because of a lack of success, but rather that the plans by developers to remodel the site means Club Mexicana can no longer trade there.

Club Mexicana is still trading in Mayfair, Boxhall City next to Liverpool Street station, and brand new food court on Leicester Square. Apparently the company has plans for more sites to be announced soon!
