Once again it’s time for the FGV broken record as I repeat myself about a food trader I love and mention often.
Pa’l Susto is a vegan home baking business specialising in Mexican sweet breads and you can buy their goodies this Sunday in East London.

Pa’l Susto is bringing its vegan take on classic Mexican bakery items to a special one-day-only market taking place at the Signature Brew brewery near Blackhorse Road in Walthamstow on Sunday February 8th, 2026 between 1pm and 6pm.
Not A Phase Alt Valentine market is a showcase of 30+ traders selling handmade artwork, clothing, jewellery, and candles. It’s all about the emo vibes!
Pa’l Susto will be on hand with a stall serving up conchas, tres leches cake, and biscuits that are all themed for Valentine’s Day.
I would highly recommend getting in early as this bakery has built a loyal gang of followers who will be buying up big.
This is not a vegan market but it is a rare chance to buy the delicious treats that are handcrafted by the Pa’l Susto team.
Extra note: spooky vegan candle maker Last Rest Candles will also have a stall. It’s a goth-run vegan candle business. How can you not love that?!
Extra extra note: dogs are welcome at Not A Phase market and Signature Brew. Woof!
