If you think you’ve seen persistent, miserable rain in your life, come to Leeds to see how it’s really done.
I am currently in the Yorkshire city for a weekend trip (I came to see awesome band Fortitude Valley in concert) and the weather couldn’t be more stereotypically Leeds right now. Pouring rain. Chilly, blustery winds. I would be annoyed anywhere else but I used to live in Leeds and for me the weather is part of its charm.
I braved the elements to hit up one of the best vegan eateries in the country last night. Leeds, you are so fortunate to have Doner Summer!
Read more below.

Doner Summer is a super cool comfort food restaurant and bar specialising in gourmet burgers, juicy kebabs, inventive sides, and soft serve ice cream.
On top of the food being exquisite, the decor of the restaurant is super cute and overall it’s 10/10 for vibes, service, food, and drinks.
Last night we enjoyed the Berlin Doner kebab, the incredible spice bag, and the unbelievable rhubarb and custard soft serve.

Everything I consumed last night was exceptional. The vegan chicken in the spice bag is the reason I’m going back for another round today and I wish everyone on the planet could get a chance to try the soft serve.
Follow Doner Summer on Instagram and eat with them whenever you are in Leeds.
