Every so often I am reminded of just how exciting it is to be part of a global vegan community.
This past week I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Australian vegan powerhouse Zacchary Bird while he was visiting London. If you already know of Zac, you’ll understand my excitement. If you don’t, allow me to introduce you to someone who is shaking up the plant based food world in a way that is loud, colourful, and gloriously unapologetic.

Zacchary is the kind of vegan who doesn’t just settle for a decent alternative, he is determined to perfect every single dish you can imagine. His work as a chef and recipe developer has seen him take on everything from plant based meats to indulgent bakery treats. His cookbooks are bursting with bold flavours and creativity.
Zac is as much an entertainer as he is a chef, serving up recipes while also delivering some seriously camp performances on social media. It’s the kind of content that makes you laugh, inspires you to get in the kitchen, and reminds you that being vegan doesn’t have to be boring.
