Vegan Meringue For Delivery

Sometimes we come across a new vegan product that makes us sit up and shout “where have you been hiding all my life?”.

Veringue is one of those moments.

The small but mighty company called Pretty Pink Potato has created a plant-based meringue that behaves like the traditional egg version without all the cruelty AND without chickpea water.

Read more below.

Veringue is available as a powdered mix if you fancy getting your hands sticky in the kitchen or as ready-made meringues if you want to skip straight to the part where you eat them. Both versions are made using potato starch, which means you don’t get any of that chickpea tang that can come with aquafaba creations. What you do get is glossy peaks, stability, and something that feels like the real deal when you are building pavlovas, whipping up Eton Mess, or just nibbling a crisp shell of sweetness on its own.

The powder version is shelf stable, so it works just as well for home bakers as it does for professionals. Meanwhile, the ready-made packs open the door for caterers, cafés, and time-poor food lovers who just want to pile vegan cream and strawberries on top without worrying about the whisking.

No eggs mean we are not harassing or harming chickens, so I’m all for this product.
