London just got a little bit more exciting thanks to this new vegan eatery.
BIG sister café and coffee shop has recently popped up in the Marble Arch area and it looks like exactly the kind of place that makes you feel at home while still treating you to something a little bit special.

The people behind BIG sister dreamed up the idea while living in London, imagining a space where vegan food could feel homely yet a bit posh, and where everyone who walked through the door would feel safe and seen.
This vision has already proved popular in France, where their first café in Nancy opened in 2022 and quickly started winning awards such as Best Vegan Food Experience in 2023 and 2024. Their co-founder and chef Nico brings a pastry background to the menu, which means the brunch dishes and desserts carry a fine-dining twist.
Everything is made on site, from sauces to syrups.
BIG sister is fully vegan from top to bottom, including furniture and cleaning products, and they operate with a zero food waste policy alongside minimal energy use. The London pop-up has been made possible thanks to Westminster City Council’s Meanwhile On programme, which supports creative projects and community businesses.
You’ll find them at 21–23 Nutford Place, W1H 5YQ, open Wednesday to Sunday, all day. You can see the exact location thanks to Google Maps.
