On Sunday August 31st, 2025 we are celebrating the 3rd anniversary of Queer Open Mic, a community-centric event showcasing LGBTQ+ performers inside legendary The Cock Tavern, Kennington.
This third birthday celebration is open to everyone. There is no cover charge, there will be vegan cake, and we have an amazing raffle with incredible prizes.

How will the raffle work?
The Open Mic kicks off at 5:30pm. For every drink you buy from the bar after this time, you will receive a raffle ticket. Buy three drinks? Get three raffle tickets!
At 8pm we will conduct the raffle draw live on stage, handing out some really fabulous prizes. What’s up for grabs? Check it out:

So many cool prizes and of course you will have to be there to claim the prize. If we call a ticket and nobody comes forward, we will draw again until we find a winner!
In addition to the cool raffle prizes, we will have party favour bags with vegan sweets for the first 50 attendees through the door.
Come and be a part of London cultural history and help us celebrate the 3 year anniversary of Queer Open Mic. Josh and I started this event to give LGBTQ+ community members a safe space to perform, but EVERYONE is welcome in the audience.
It would be wonderful to see as many people as we can squeeze into the pub for this special party!
