Community Event with Falafel

London, there is a community event taking place this month that I want you to know about.

JVS (Jewish Vegan Sustainable) is hosting their 2025 Summer Social on Wednesday 27 August at their HQ in Golders and it promises to be an evening full of conversation and delicious food.

Read more below.

Guests will be treated to catering by Pita with falafel, warm pitta, creamy hummus, crisp pickles, fresh salads and chips. Drinks are sorted too, with wine, beer and soft options all on hand. If the sun decides to shine, everyone will spill out into the garden and make the most of the last remnants of summer. Tickets are £18 and nearly gone, so if this sounds like your idea of a perfect evening you should probably move quickly.

This event is open to all, no matter your age or background. JVS are also using the evening to launch their Young Professionals division for people aged 21 to 30. There will be a dedicated table set up to help people build new connections and friendships.

For those who might not be familiar, JVS is the UK Jewish community’s non-profit dedicated to promoting food ethics, sustainability, and concern for all living creatures. Their work brings people together and reminds us that eating well, caring for animals, and protecting the planet can and should go hand in hand.

So there you have it. A chance to eat, drink, chat, and celebrate community in one of London’s most welcoming vegan spaces.
