New Menu At London Vegan Smokehouse

If you know LD’s, you know they don’t mess about. These are the culinary heavyweights who’ve been ruling the vegan roost at The Black Heart in Camden for quite a while.

But here’s the thing. Not everyone realises they also run the kitchen at Saint Monday, a laid-back brewery and pub just a short stroll from London Fields.

And now they’ve launched a brand new menu there. It’s smoky, saucy, indulgent, and unapologetically delicious in all the right ways. It’s proper BBQ comfort food with every bite screaming flavour.

See the full menu below:

The Smokestack – Juicy smoked vegan brisket, handmade and smoked in-house, stacked in a garlic bread sandwich with pickles, burger sauce, lettuce, pickled red onions, melted smoked cheeze, with burger sauce on the side.

Sand-Ribz – Killer ribz on a bed of lettuce, stacked with pickles, ranch and OG BBQ sauce. Served in garlic bread with a ranch dip.

LD’s Club Tofu – Smoked chicken-style tofu, with facon’, smashed avocado, lettuce, tomato and lemon mayo. Served in garlic bread with LD’s pickle hot sauce.

The Smokey Doe – Slow-smoked beetroot and tomato sauce with soy mince and jackfruit, served in a brioche garlic bun with melted smoked cheeze, pickles and American mustard.

Dirty Cob Out (salad) – Burnt ends, garlic croutons, smoked corn served on a bed of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled red onions, with ranch drizzled over. Pickle hot sauce on the side.

Brisket Mac’n’Cheeze – A large bowl of smoked macaroni cheeze topped with brisket pieces and OG BBQ sauce drizzled over the top.

BBQ Smoke House – See board for daily smokes and specials.

BBQ Plates (all plates served with a side of ranch and handmade pickles, with your choice of BBQ sauce)

Brisket Plate – LD’s handmade brisket made from a blend of gluten, mushrooms and tofu with a smoked salt and pepper rub. Served with a side of dill slaw and smoked mac.

Rib Plate – Delicious ribz, made from gluten, mushroom and jackfruit, smoked in-house and served with a side of salad and BBQ beer beans.

Tofu Plate – Smoked tofu marinated in a smoked rub and glazed in BBQ sauce. Served with smoked corn on the cob, dill slaw and potato salad.

Sauce choices: LD’s OG BBQ Sauce, Bourbon BBQ, Spicy BBQ, Saint Monday Beer BBQ.

Snacks’n’Sides: Potato Salad, Dill Slaw, Burnt Ends, Corn on Cob, Buttered Smoked Corn, Beer BBQ beans, Mini Mac, Garlic Bread & Ranch.

Dessert – Three-peach southern style cobbler, served with whipped cream and topped with cinnamon.

The beauty of Saint Monday is that you can settle in with one of their freshly brewed beers while tucking into a plate of something smoky, saucy, and simply fabulous. And with LD’s in the kitchen, you’re guaranteed a feed that’s worth travelling across the city for.

If you’re anywhere near London Fields, grab a mate, grab a table, and bring your appetite. Saint Monday is where your next great vegan meal is waiting.
