New Menu Items For Summer At London Vegan Pub

There’s a pub in East London that’s been quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) serving up some of the most delicious vegan food in the capital.

And now, they’ve only gone and launched a brand new summer menu. Expect sunshine-ready dishes and a whole lot of plant-based flair.

There are some new seasonal stunners making waves at The Spread Eagle, London’s beloved fully vegan pub that keeps proving again and again that pub food doesn’t need animal bits to be good.

The new summer menu is bursting with compassionate ingredients. Whether you’re basking in the beer garden or hiding inside with a pint pretending it’s not raining (classic UK summer), there’s something on this menu that’ll make you glad you left the house.

Here are a few standout dishes that had me considering moving in permanently:

BBQ Sharing Platter
Perfect for groups or one very hungry person. This platter is loaded with veg and tofu skewers, grilled corn, potato salad, coleslaw, onion rings, pulled mushroom sliders, pickles, and a generous splash of BBQ and ranch sauces. It’s summer on a tray, basically.

Tempura Courgette Flower
A bit posh, a bit crunchy, and wildly tasty. This courgette flower is delicately fried and stuffed with in-house almond ricotta, then served up with romesco and a drizzle of pineapple honey. Don’t act like you’re not impressed.

Eton Mess
They’ve gone and made it vegan. This classic summer dessert is back and absolutely smashing it with creamy layers, crunchy bits, and fruity goodness. Grab a spoon!

The Spread Eagle continues to show that traditional pub culture can thrive in a way that’s kinder to animals, the planet, and your taste buds.
