I’ve got some exciting news for fans of vegan fine dining.
One of London’s most beloved plant-based restaurants is expanding. If you’ve been craving beautifully plated, vegetable-forward dishes, you’re in for a treat.

I had the pleasure of dining twice at Holy Carrot during its time in Knightsbridge, and each visit was a delight. The food was not only delicious but also presented with an elegance that elevated vegetables to be the stars of the plate.
Since then, Holy Carrot has re-established itself on Portobello Road, continuing its mission to transform plant-based ingredients into fine dining experiences.
Today I strolled past Old Spitalfields Market and noticed signs for Holy Carrot’s upcoming location! While the exact opening date hasn’t been announced, I believe it’s anticipated to welcome guests before the end of the year.
Holy Carrot is known for its commitment to sustainability and innovation, working with small-scale producers and incorporating techniques like fire cookery and fermentation. The new Spitalfields site should be set to continue this tradition.
I’m eagerly awaiting the opening and look forward to experiencing the new location’s offerings. Keep an eye on Holy Carrot’s website and Instagram for updates.
