Vegan wrap up
Below is a collection of just some of the vegan dishes and experiences that caught my attention over the past week. Do you like the look of anything in particular?
I adore the food and drink at Juice Baby in Chelsea. The creamy cacao milk made with almonds is a dream come true.
I met a friendly fellow named Simon who creates vegan tattoo in Plymouth.
I picked up this fabulous block of chocolate from Ms. Cupcake in Brixton.
Josh made spelt pikelets topped with scrambled tofu featuring VioLife cheese, mushrooms and leeks.
I attended the launch party for vegan sushi makers The Happy Maki at their current location of The Moveable Feat in London Bridge, just at the base of The Shard. All of their wraps are incredible. Hurry as they are only at this location for the next five weeks.
Since my pal Jhenn has taken over kitchen duties at Veg Bar Brixton, the menu has really started to shine. These fiery seitan wings are delicious and I can’t get enough.
Josh decided we don’t eat enough fried food and created these ridiculously amazing sriracha battered bites including avocado, Brussels sprouts and cauliflower. Wonderful.
All of these photos originally appeared on my Instagram feed.
Reminder: don’t forget to take part in International Vegan Junk Food Day this Saturday (29 August, 2015). Use #ivjfd15 on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to show others how you are celebrating.
Hi I went to VX vegan store in Caledonian Rd. Lovely guys, I purchased some Jeezano parmesan flavour non dairy cheese. Delicious. My lovely partner HATES parmesan cheese and he hated this too, so thats good enough for me to says it`s as good as that other cheese made of cow juice (yuck).
I made a special pasta in honour of its arrival in my fridge.
Happy days
