Hometown
Did you all know that I am from Australia?
I grew up in a city called Brisbane. Actually, I spent my younger years in a seaside town called Redcliffe just north of Brisbane and later moved to the Queensland capital as a teenager.
Where you grow up always holds a unique place in your memories, so it was exciting to hear I had been mentioned in my hometown newspaper in connection to my blogging and event planning in the UK.
Check it out!
So much love to Heather of Love Like Hate for getting my name printed in the piece about the Vegan Roadshow tour. I’m super pleased to be mentioned in my hometown newspaper (The Courier Mail).
If you are unaware of the tour I have put together, this July I am taking Brisbane band Love Like Hate around the UK for a series of live shows. Education and activist group Animal Equality will be running a merchandise stand at each stop and there will be vegan food to buy from a local vendor.
Vegan Roadshow is a grass roots undertaking and we are raising the funds needed to go on the road via an Indiegogo campaign. We are asking people to support our tour by donating from as little as £1. In fact, if every person reading this story gave £1 our tour would be funded instantly.
You can donate here.
The Indiegogo campaign page also gives you the option of buying tickets to each stop of the tour. Tickets for each show are priced at just £5 and include digital downloads of two Love Like Hate EPs. So far, we have Vegan Roadshow stops in Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, Nottingham, Oxford and London. We are looking to add a few more.
Support independent vegan musicians. Support vegan business. Support animal activists. Give from just £1 and make Vegan Roadshow a reality.
That is so awesome!!!!!!!!!! 😀
