Make tofu
I’ve never been the best vegan I can be because I’ve never taken the time to make my own tofu.
This could all change thanks to an exclusive ‘make your own tofu’ class being staged soon (April 11, 2015) by Korean BBQ restaurant, Yijo.
Check out what they have to say about the class:
Have you ever wanted to make your own tofu at home? Are you intrigued by how tofu is made? Then Yijo’s cooking class is for you!
Chef Jun Pyo Kwon will teach you how to master the art of tofu making at home. He will talk you through the different types of tofu you can make, the various beans you can use and the different setting agents.
You will also learn how to cook two Korean traditional dishes made with fresh tofu.
This is a fully hands-on class : you will make your own tofu, and then use it to cook a delicious meal that we will all share at the end of the class.
Chef Jun Pyo will also provide you with some special dishes he will cook especially for the students.
We limit the size of the group to 7 students to ensure a relaxed class and plenty of time for you to ask questions to Chef.
I checked in with Yijo and was informed the entire class is suitable for vegans.
What do you think? Would you like to be able to make your own tofu?

I’d LOVE to take this class! So jealous I can’t be there…
