Vegan Burger Restaurant in Paris

As I am currently in Paris, I thought I really should take a trip to a new-ish vegan burger bar to sample the menu. For research purposes, you understand!

A few days ago, my group was feeling a bit worn out from all the walking we had been doing in the chilly Parisian air and decided a spot of comfort food eating was on the cards.

After a quick browse of the handy Happycow database, we opted to dine with vegan burger restaurant Green Farmer’s.

Green Farmer’s has two locations in Paris, with other locations scattered around Europe such as Cannes, Ajaccio and Amsterdam. This is a franchise setup, so I imagine you would get a similar food experience across each of the restaurants.

We dined in the Rue du Faubourg du Temple location which was smartly decorated, however they were out of a number of our first requests. Some of my group wanted wine, my husband wanted green curry, and I wanted the tempura nuggets however the restaurant didn’t have any of these available despite them being on the menu.

The food they did have was hot and tasty. It was quite reminiscent of other plant-based vegan food chains such as Neat Burger (RIP). Not groundbreaking stuff but definitely enjoyable and satisfying.

We chowed down on creamy soup, fish and chips, burgers, and salad.

Is Green Farmer’s going to win any fine dining awards? No. Would I dine there again? Definitely.

Apart from the disappointment of the missing first choices, the food experience was enjoyable.

You can read more about the restaurant and menu on the Green Farmer’s website. You can follow Green Farmer’s on Instagram.

Extra note: one of the founders of Green Farmer’s, Olivier Sarfati, seems to have enjoyed immense success with an E-cig franchise empire across France. After having what appears to be a profitable run with Jwell outlets (more than 300) of them, he has turned his hand to vegan food franchising. Feels like a weird pivot! I’m not keen on the vape empire but glad to see the spread of plant-based eateries.
