15 Years of Teaming Up With Vegan Businesses

I’ve enjoyed the opportunities I’ve had to work with many compassionate and creative vegan businesses over the past 15 years. Being able to merge my love for vegan food, community, and activism into meaningful collaborations has felt like a true privilege.

Why is this important to me?

Partnering with values-led businesses helps create a world where compassion is prioritised, where independent and ethical enterprises thrive, and where plant-based living is celebrated in all its delicious glory. It’s also about building a supportive network of people who want to make the world a better place for animals, people, and the planet.

And it makes me feel better about how I spend my time on this planet!

Here are just a few of the brilliant vegan businesses I’ve had the joy of working with along the way.

Temple of Seitan
An absolute game-changer on the UK vegan scene. Temple of Seitan brought plant-based fast food into the mainstream with their legendary fried chick’n. From their Camden shop to their pop-ups and events, Temple has always been about the best flavours, bold branding, and unapologetically indulgent food. Legends, really.

BOSH!
You’ve seen them on TV, in your local supermarket, and probably in your kitchen. BOSH! has made a name for themselves as two of the most recognisable faces of the UK vegan movement. Their recipes, cookbooks, and digital content have inspired millions to eat more plants. Henry and Ian will always feature in my working life highlights.

Fry Family Food Co
A staple for many vegans before there was a plant-based aisle in every supermarket. Fry’s has been making family-friendly, freezer-ready vegan food for decades. This family business from South Africa has always stood for kindness and ethics, and it has been a thrill to support their mission.

Essential Vegan
Founded by the fabulous Vanessa Almeida, Essential Vegan has always been about hearty, home-style cooking rooted in Brazilian traditions. Whether through her cookbook, her café, or residency kitchens, Vanessa has brought warmth and soul to every meal. An absolute joy to work alongside. And Essential Vegan is still going strong with a new owner!

Make No Bones
Sheffield legends and trailblazers. Make No Bones built a cult following with their creative comfort food and bold approach to vegan dining. They were at the heart of the northern vegan food revolution, and it was my total pleasure to support their journey over the years. I hope they return one day! I love Dave and Lauren and everything they have done for me and for veganism.

And this list doesn’t even begin to cover it all. I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with many more brilliant vegan businesses, and I’m grateful for every single one. These partnerships have fuelled my belief that when we come together with purpose, we can make real change.

Here’s to more years of compassionate teamwork.
