Not satisfied with impressing the socks off the city with their beloved pub food, the team behind the cuisine at Golden Fleece has now launched a second venue in the city centre!
Nestled in the vibrant food district of Hockley (inside Hockley Emporium), this new eatery is making waves with a menu that goes beyond standard pub fare. The kitchen is offering dishes packed with bold flavours, creative textures, and a whole lot of compassion.
While you can still indulge in a lot of their classic dishes, the Golden Fleece’s new kitchen takes things up a notch.
Their Bloody Mary Tempura Broccoli, with vodka-infused tomatoes and zesty relish, is a crunchy, spicy revelation. The Cauli Steak, served with vibrant chimichurri and triple-cooked chips, is hearty enough to satisfy the hungriest diner. And if comfort food’s your game, the Tofu Katsu Curry with crispy, golden tofu in a warming katsu sauce hits all the right notes.
The Hawaiian-inspired poke bowl with beetroot and oyster mushrooms delivers a seafood vibe without harming a fin. And for the brunch crowd, the Ultimate Vegan Platter is a breakfast dream featuring scrambled tofu, maple aubergine “bacon,” crispy cauliflower hash browns, and all the trimmings.
Golden Fleece Kitchen inside Hockley Emporium isn’t just feeding the vegan community. It’s showing everyone that plant-based food can be inventive, indulgent, and downright delicious.
