(Jokes aside, yes it’s sad to lose a vegan voice but beyond veganism, as far I’m concerned in my political beliefs I wouldn’t trust a politician who is involved in a blairite coup of a party leader that enjoys wide support of labour outside a (centrist) number of the PLP. I think grassroot animal rights activists can achieve a lot more than an MP who will be constrained by a parliament full of non-vegans could.)
