LA update
I’ve woken early on the morning of the 6th annual Los Angeles Vegan Beer & Food Festival due to jet lag. My body is struggling to adjust to the time difference on this trip. I want to sleep when I shouldn’t and can’t when I should.
I’ll take advantage of this early rise to update you on a few of the gorgeous food experiences I’ve had here in California.
Hope you’ve eaten already.
Two of my favourite snack items on the planet. The chocolate pretzel with sea salt NuGo bar is always a winner and I can’t get enough of this KeVita mojita drink.
Get a look at this 20 inch vegan pizza by Apollonia’s on Wilshire near La Brea. This giant pizza featured mushrooms, olives and Daiya.
I have a lot of history with Native Foods, as I first dined with them back in 2000 and have been a regular ever since. You can see my latest meal above which included a seitan taco bowl, wings and seasoned fries.
Every trip to the USA results in me eating my weight in this ricemellow cream. I have a serious problem and I adore it!
Here is my vegan tuna melt from Sage Vegan Bistro in Echo Park. Tasty!
All of these photos originally appeared on my Instagram account.
What would you choose from the above?
Choose! I think that I would go for d) All of the above!
