This is your ticket to Freedom
Here is some excellent news to get you over those midweek blues.
Freedom Brewery is a fabulous producer of lager and beer operating out of Staffordshire, UK. They have been supplying drinkers with outstanding beverages since 1995 and all of their products are certified by the Vegan Society as suitable for a vegan diet. A little while ago, I published a short review of their lager and I have been enjoying this drink ever since I put that story out.
Now, here is the really good news…
Freedom Brewery are generous and kind in addition to being skilled beer producers. The company has kindly donated a sampling of their beers to the London Vegan Potluck taking place next month. This means people will be able to wash down their huge selection of vegan food dishes with a sip or two of vegan beer.
The potluck is taking place at the Ms. Cupcake vegan bakery in Brixton. For more details about the event and to RSVP, please visit the event page.
If you want delicious vegan food and beer, please RSVP quickly. Due to space limitations we can accommodate just 30 people.

Freedom lager is not truly vegan. They use fish guts in the filtration process. Legally they are vegan as non are in end product. But we all know that makes no difference.
As a fellow vegan I’m no longer drinking freedom or any of this vegan society approved non vegan beers
Nick
Hi Nick…. thanks for your comment but I have always been convinced of Freedom making only vegan beer. But, your comment did inspire me to reach out to them again for clarification. Below is the email I received today from Freedom…..
Hope you are well. Many thanks for your email and bringing this to our attention. For the record Freedom Brewery do not use isinglass finings in the production process for crafting any of our beers. We have never used isinglass finings and we never will. I would be delighted to invite anyone to come and spend the day here at the brewery to watch the full brewing process to prove my statement.
I am not sure why Nick thinks we do. I can only assume that he watched Food Unwrapped on C4 on Monday 1st Oct at 20:30 which featured Freedom Brewery and also another brewery in Dublin. We made it clear to the film crew that we do not use isinglass whereas the other brewery we happy to demonstrate that they did. Therefore hopefully giving a balanced review.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any additional information or if you would like to discuss this matter further. I am happy for you to post all of my contact details so if Nick or anyone else would like to contact me directly then they can.
Thanks for all of your support, past and present.
Kind regards
Ed

SO vegan drinkers….. keep drinking Freedom’s delicious beers for as long as you can. Freedom will NEVER start using animal products in the creation of their beers. Yippee!
Great news. The C4 programme was poorly edited, as I know many people who thought the same after watching it. Good research.
