Join us for a new monthly night designed and hosted by Queer vegans for Queer vegans.
Pick out your favourite go-to song, start practising in the shower, and get ready to hit the mic at Queer Karaoke taking place on the first Sunday on every month on New Oxford Street, Central London.
Next date: Sunday July 3, 2022
Our host Josh (long time vegan organiser in London) will be your host alongside Sean/Fat Gay Vegan over four hours of singing, dancing, and Queer socialising on the first Sunday of every month.
Queer Vegan Karaoke is located in the karaoke room on the first floor of The Old Crown pub at 33 New Oxford Street. This is exactly halfway between Tottenham Court Road and Holborn Underground stations. Walk into the pub and head straight upstairs!
Time: 6pm until 10pm
This event is an LGBTQ+ event. Our friends and allies are of course welcome. Non-vegans are also more than welcome however the event has been designed as a social space for vegans and vegan-curious people, so no anti-vegan attitudes will be tolerated!
Please note: the on-site vegan kitchen Vetomeato stops serving at 4pm on Sundays so please get along earlier in the afternoon if you want to eat at the pub. We are also hosting a vegan board game Meetup between 12pm and 6pm in the pub so you can come early and join in if you want to make a full day of it!
There will be vegan sweets/snacks to share in the karaoke room. The karaoke machine holds thousands and thousands of songs, so chances are Josh will be able to help you find your favourites.
The Old Crown is VERY KINDLY giving us this space at no cost, including use of their impressive karaoke system. We can support them and make the event viable by purchasing drinks from the bar. Almost the entire selection of drinks is vegan and the staff are very knowledgable about what is and isn’t suitable.
See you at Queer Vegan Karaoke!
You can invite friends to the event over on the official Facebook event.
