Pasta in a pot

I don’t even drink coffee but find myself presenting you with a second piece of vegan news this week related to one of the biggest coffee chains in the country.

Two days ago I told you about the vegan mince pie being sold at Caffè Nero and today I bring you word of another plant-based offering from the country-wide high street business.

This vegetable arrabbiata I spotted in the Westminster outlet today looked like a solid meal and I adore seeing the word ‘vegan’ printed in mainstream shops.

Have you tried this pasta meal for one? What did you think?

  1. Thanks to your tip-off, called in at Nero today and tried the mince pie – pretty good and great to see the Vegan label like you say. Didn’t see the pasta, but they also have vegan gianduja on the counter too (not labelled vegan because of the ‘may contain dairy’ statement), but very good with coffee….

  2. This was actually we quite tasty, and I’m not a massive pasta fan. Pretty expensive (£5?), considering it is from Nero, but Pret didn’t have their yummy curry that day (expensive, but SO GOOD).
