Beer shop

Beer.

One word, so many possibilities.

It would be an understatement to say craft beer has exploded across London and the UK over the past few years. The march of craft beer across the country is unstoppable and if the popularity of London Vegan Beer Fest is any indication, vegans want to be part of the brew revolution just as much as everyone else.

One of the most exciting developments for craft beer enthusiasts is the opening of specialist retailers, such as We Brought Beer.

After a runaway start with their Balham location, WBB have now launched a new store front in Clapham and the venue looks absolutely gorgeous.

Check out the photos below.

WBB Clapham is not just rammed solid with beer. The drinks outlet has a gorgeous-looking beer garden set to be heated in winter months, a private tasting room and a wide range of home brewing supplies.

Of course not all of the hundreds of beers sold by WBB are suitable for vegans, but a huge chunk certainly meet the criteria.

I’ve picked out a few I think you should try on your first visit to the shop to stop you from becoming overwhelmed. Look out for:

1. Abita Turbodog (6.5%) – Louisiana
Turbodog is a dark brown ale brewed with pale, caramel, and chocolate malts and Willamette hops. It has a rich body and colour and a sweet chocolate, toffee-like flavour. Despite the name, no dogs were used in the production of this beer!

2. Brixton Electric IPA (6.5%) – London
Named after and inspired by Brixton’s vibrant Electric Avenue, Electric IPA is a new-world hopped IPA bursting with tropical, citrus flavours.

3. Moor Not Another Eurovision Beer (5.2%) – Bristol
An amber rye IPA, available in cans, this brand new beer from Bristol’s finest is perfect for the season; hoppy and a beautiful shade of dark gold/red.

Get along to We Brought Beer and be sure to let me know which brews you picked up.

Visit We Brought Beer online, like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter or Instagram.
