Vegan in Liverpool

The Vegan Roadshow was travelling quickly through Liverpool this week but of course we made time to get some eating in.

Check out two of the meals I was able to consume in the brief amount of time we had in the city.
Photo number one shows the bacon cheeseburger pizza from Maguire’s on Renshaw Street. This pizza joint has a live music room in the back and a separate vegan pizza menu for compassionate eaters.

The bottom photo shows one of the best full English cooked breakfasts I’ve been served in this country. If you can get to the weirdly-named The Egg Cafe, you will be served one of the loveliest tofu scrambles in the land plus all the other fixings to start your day in style.

Where do you like to eat vegan in Liverpool?

  1. Evil eye beer and burrito shack do great vegan burritos, and the old hardware shop in Woolton is all veggie/vegan and does breakfasts toasties, milkshakes, cakes and all kinds. Purple carrot is an all vegan shop/cafe on smithdown road, and there’s a vegan gluten free bakery called cake mamas that does event cakes and cupcakes in loads of flavours. 🙂
