Whole lotta love

If you like a good party with plenty of vegan refreshments, wonderful people and plant-based food options, you would have been in your element last night as London Vegan Drinks made its debut in Whole Foods Market High Street Kensington.

Almost 150 vegans and vegan-friendlies converged on the gorgeous Kensington High Street mega-store on Thursday July 18th, 2013 for what is now one of the biggest monthly vegan events on the planet.

We felt so loved!

Our new hosts Whole Foods Market pulled out all the stops to make sure we felt at home in our new location. People were welcomed with an extremely-generous gift bag filled with treats, the bar was stocked with animal-friendly drinks and the food counters featured vegan items such as burgers and pizzas. There was even a specially-printed menu highlighting the vegan options available.

With such a large crowd in attendance, it was difficult to say hello to everyone but I gave it my best shot. It was great to see some well-known faces in the crowd, too. Mellissa Morgan of Ms. Cupcake, Alan Martin of health food grocery stores Food For Thought, Mauro Vendramin of gorgeous vegan cheese company MozzaRisella, Citizen Radio host Jamie Kilstein, Nishma and Mahersh of caterers Shambhu’s and Adrian and Diana of Vegan Peasant were all spotted in the crowd.

I want to give a massive thank you to everyone at Whole Foods Market High Street Kensington who helped make the night a fabulous success. It would mean a lot if you could all take a minute out of your day to say thank you to the store via social media for all their efforts in supporting this much-loved community event. They can be reached on Facebook and Twitter.

See you all at the August event!
